Overall verdict: A bit on the steep side i.e. it is a pricy place, but the quality of food and portion size is worth writing home about. Everything, from the crispiness of the fries, fish and chicken, to the freshness of the cole slaw and rosemary leaf, was highly satisfactory.

ReplyDeleteFor a place of Zouk's stature, it seems surprising that the tortilla chips it makes look like the papri we sprinkle over chats and the salsa, instead of being the thick chunky variety, somehow resembles the diluted imli ka pani used for gol gappas/pani puris. That said, even if the food is not the most authentic, if it tastes good, as you wrote the food at Cafe Zouk certainly did, then that is what really matters.
i totally agree with you.i have noticed frm my 5 yrs experience in Pakistan that most of the restaurants which call themselves "high dining" places, are just ripping off people!!!
